Sydney’s beautiful coastline is world-famous, and Harrison’s Landscaping has once again demonstrated their design expertise with a stunning project in the coastal suburb of Bronte. By thoughtfully integrating a swimming pool, lush greenery, and an outdoor kitchen, they’ve transformed a small property into a luxurious coastal retreat.
The project kicked off with a detailed, hand-excavated swimming pool, which quickly became the focal point of this outdoor space. This pool isn't just for swimming—it's the centrepiece that brings tranquillity and elegance to the backyard, creating a perfect escape from the bustling city life.
At the far end of the pool, a striking dragon tree stands tall, bringing a touch of the exotic to this modest space. The tree acts as a bold focal point, giving the garden character and a sense of balance with the surrounding greenery.
To further enhance the tropical atmosphere, the team selected a variety of plant species, including Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise), Alocasia (Elephant Ear), Sansevieria (Snake Plant), Kentia palm, and the magnificent Dragon Tree. These plants create a lush, inviting garden that feels like a natural extension of the coastal environment.
For added privacy and aesthetic appeal, climbing plants such as Beaumontia grandiflora (Easter Lily Vine) and Madagascan jasmine were incorporated along the walls, adding layers of beauty and intimacy to the garden.
The outdoor space is completed by an inviting kitchen and entertainment area, offering a perfect spot for socialising or simply unwinding in the sunshine. This multifunctional area allows the homeowners to fully embrace Sydney’s coastal lifestyle, whether hosting guests or enjoying a quiet moment by the pool.
